Eunan

Eunan
Eunan m
Irish and Scottish: Anglicized form of the Gaelic name Ádhamhnán. This is possibly a diminutive form of Ádhamh, the Gaelic version of ADAM (SEE Adam), but is now thought more likely to represent a diminutive form of adomnae great fear, hence ‘Little Horror’. The name was borne by a 7th-century saint, abbot of Iona and biographer of St Columba.
